A dedicated team of healthcare actuaries support all of our product offerings. We frequently ask these team members to attend client meetings with our underwriters to share both account-specific perspectives and broader industry trends gleaned from our extensive claims and exposure database.
In support of our programs, the Berkley Healthcare Professional Underwriters claims team deploys its experience working with complex, high severity claims to the benefit of our clients. The team is supported by a nationally recognized defense panel of attorneys and experts. From a philosophical perspective, they seek to provide a vigorous defense where circumstances warrant, and promptly work to favorable outcomes when claims exhibit clear client liability.
