Benjamin J. Mack
Prior to joining us in 2015, Ben spent his entire career in the brokerage industry working for a large international firm with time spent in New York and Bermuda. Throughout his brokerage career he specialized in healthcare liability serving a broad range of large national and international clients. His responsibilities included development and refinement of placement strategies for complex healthcare organizations in conjunction with a global network of colleagues. Ben now brings this invaluable client-facing experience and familiarity with industry challenges to bear in crafting responsive healthcare and excess liability protection for our clients.
A dedicated team of healthcare actuaries support all of our product offerings. We frequently ask these team members to attend client meetings to share both account-specific perspectives and broader industry trends gleaned from our extensive claims and exposure database.
In support of our programs, the claims team deploys its experience working with complex, high severity claims to the benefit of our clients. The team is supported by a nationally recognized defense panel of attorneys and experts. From a philosophical perspective, they seek to provide a vigorous defense where circumstances warrant, and promptly work to favorable outcomes when claims exhibit clear client liability.
No company can provide service excellence without superior administrative assistance behind the scenes. We are supported by talented finance, legal, compliance, information technology and marketing team members.
We believe no insurer has the risk management and clinical support resources to meet every client need. Therefore, we draw from a panel of independent risk management and industry experts to assist clients in addressing each specific risk management challenge.
